As social media rallies to support a victim of racism, Coulter crashes the party and ruins everything
Ann Coulter has a message for a reporter who claimed that he was a victim of racism: You’re lying.
Last week, New York Times investigative editor Michael Luo penned an open letter to a nondescript woman who cursed out his family as they were leaving church in Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
“Go back to China. Go back to your fucking country,” he said the woman yelled to him.
Luo tweeted Sunday that his daughter was concerned they might run into the same woman:
Daughter after church just now: "I hope that woman doesn't tell us to go back to China today."
The tweet was a reminder that insults are not just words. They can divide people and create a sense of otherness that strikes at the “heart of the the Asian-American experience,” he wrote.
