August 10 - South African President Jacob Zuma has offered his country's help to aid Russia's bid to host the 2018 World Cup.
Zuma made his offer during a visit to Moscow, where he has held talks with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.
"South Africa has just successfully hosted the 2010 FIFA World Cup," said Zuma.
"It was a most exciting period in our country, as we hosted thousands of soccer fans and tourists from all over the world.
"The success of the World Cup, the first on African soil, has helped us to prove that the African continent is capable of hosting events of this magnitude.
